After two weeks in your Hebrew School my son knows more than he learned in his entire Hebrew School education! His joy and excitement for Judaism is so apparent. I am amazed at how much knowledge you can impart in such a short lesson. Thank you for bringing the joys of Judaism alive for my son.

I also love the idea of being involved with what they are learning. I am so impressed with your program. Not only do they love it – they are learning so much. Thank you. I am so grateful that we made this decision to have them be part of Chabad.

Wanted to let you know how much Jack enjoyed his first day of Hebrew School and how much he already learned. It was such a pleasure to pick him up last Sunday and see how happy he was as he shared with me a few tidbits of what he’s learned. Thank you.

The boys LOVED it…!!!! I cannot believe how much they learned in one day..!! I am so excited for them.

I wanted to share with you something Jamie wrote as an answer to a question in public school. She had numerous questions to answer and one of them was: Write about a time you remember. She wrote: When I was in Hebrew School, I made a menorah and it was so fun!" Of all the things to remember, (cruise, vacation, parties, big events etc.) she remembered this. I think that's great.

My son was reluctant to go to Hebrew School, but since starting at Chabad of Westborough he has not made a single complaint. On the contrary, he has learned a lot and is much more interested in Judaism. He does his Hebrew homework willingly, and he is more eager to join in mitzvot at home. He is even a better sport about going to services with us. I think he just can't resist the teachers' enthusiasm for Judaism.

My husband and in-laws really enjoyed meeting you and your husband and can understand why I am so fond of you. It’s because of your reaction to my situation and Judaism that has encouraged me to rethink about what a beautiful celebration a bar mitzvah is. Also, Brandon loved Hebrew school I think he has a knack for languages so he may have an easy time. He loves the idea that during Passover he can actually be involved in the reading and understand some of it.

I just wanted to let you know that Jamie and Greg had a fabulous time at Hebrew School. They came home with all smiles and told me everything they learned that day… Thank you for everything.

Thanks for an awesome newsletter!! It was very interesting and informative about what is going on in Hebrew School. If you can continue with weekly (or biweekly) newsletters it will be highly appreciated by our family.

My son really enjoys Hebrew School. He looks forward to doing his Hebrew School homework with gusto. (If only he was so enthusiastic about his regular homework :-) Sometimes we have to bribe him -- "Do your math homework and then you can do your Hebrew School homework!" His excitement is a true testament to your program.

Great Newsletters!!! I love receiving them!!

Lindsey came home very excited about the purple book! She read a lot for me yesterday and is beginning to put together the prayers you sing with the actual text. We have started our holiday cooking and Lindsey made rugalach with me and wants to make her first pot of chicken soup!

...We can't thank you and Dvora enough for all of your efforts, thoughts, and contributions that you have made to our children as well as for Susan and I. We recognize that the contributions you have made to us were not just the "Hebrew school" type lessons, but lessons in life, especially important as being Jews. Your approach to teaching Judaism was perfect for our children as we believe they thrived in the environment you created as opposed to the ones that Susan and I experienced at their age...Again, thanks for all you have done from the bottom of our hearts.

I think Sunday went well, and hope you feel proud about it...
I truly think you had a great group of teachers this year and am hopeful for next year.
Best wishes,
~Elizabeth
Thank you again for an outstanding program. The boys (and I !) learned so much this year. And they actually enjoyed going to Hebrew school - amazing..!! I got so much out of meeting with Rabbi Green on the family/parnets days. Eventually I think I would be interested in taking a class to learn more...

Did you read the article in the Boston Globe the other day? It was about how bored kids are of Hebrew School, lower enrollments etc. and how Temples are trying to change their curriculum to keep kids interested. I am so thankful we’re with Chabad because I don’t see any boredom at all. The kids love going!!
~Debbie
Our house smells delicious--the smell of baking bread is probably one of the most wonderful smells ever!! Joshua is very excited to share the challah with the family tomorrow night for the holiday.

...By the way, Jamie LOVES her Hebrew School teacher. She said he is really nice and very funny.
